Advanced Keylogger is another computer monitoring program from the company 'Eltima'. Advanced Keylogger is cheaper than its sister product – Powered Keylogger and the website sells them both. The problem we immediately ran into on the site was finding out the difference between each product. Its unclear why the products are sold separately, why the prices are different or what each of them do differently.
That aside, the website offers a free 7 day trial of the software, and purchasing and downloading the software is simple. We'll start off with the few plus points of Advanced Keylogger. The installation process is quick and painless and the stealth levels of the program are very good. Also, the user interface is friendly and easy to navigate.
Unfortunately, that’s where they good points end. It is unclear why this and Powered Keylogger are separate products but this software is even worse than its sister. The functionality of Advanced Keylogger is extremely poor. The websites monitoring only works occasionally in Internet Explorer. There is a total lack of email monitoring and the chat monitoring only works for one side of the conversation.
So all in all, Advanced Keylogger is far from advanced. The functions are poor and the price tag is high for such a low end keylogger. The keystroke logging works fine, but this should be a given in keylogger software. The filtering options are also average, and nothing to shout about. There are a lot better keyloggers in this price range, stick to something else!
