This is a review of the computer monitoring software – Beyond Keylogger. As usual, we'll start off at the website. Something immediately hit when I first visited the website – it looked very familiar! After a little bit of looking around I realised, the site was exactly the same as the all in one keylogger's website. Just with different names. After downloading and installing the software (there is also a free trial), I found that this was exactly the same software as all in one keylogger, just re-branded and re-packaged as 'Beyond Keylogger'!
Now, I'm not sure if this is the same company or whether the rights of all in one keylogger have been sold to a separate company, either way the software is exactly the same. Beyond keylogger is a very competent program. All the usual keylogger functions are there – keystroke logging, screenshot capture, websites visited, applications used, chat monitoring and pretty good filtering and blocking options. The stealth levels of this software are also pretty good and it took me quite a while to find the installed software. To open up the user interface you simply click on your desktop and type your password. The interface itself is very friendly and easy to use.
There are a few nice extra features that are included in Beyond Keylogger. They include, mouse monitoring, capturing only the active window and one that I particularly liked, the ability to take a screenshot when a predefined keyword is typed.
All in all, Beyond keylogger is a nice, competent piece of software, although its not well-rounded enough to be pushed higher on our list and does need a little bit of work. Because of this I'd stick to something else for now. Take a look at the review of All in one keylogger for more details.
