This is a review of the phone spy software FlexiSPY. The company that makes FlexiSPY are widely regarded to be the technological and market leader in phone spy software. Lets find out if they deserve that title. As usual we start off at the website. The FlexiSPY website is fairly easy to understand but for a first time visitor there's a lot of information to take it. FlexiSPY offers three different versions of their software – Light, Pro and Pro X. They have also recently added a version for iPhones and software that automatically records calls onto a PC. The website includes a demo of FlexiSPY in actions and purchasing the software is very simple.
Firstly, we'll cover what's included in each version of FlexiSPY. The Light version costs $149 per year and monitors SMS, emails and call logs. The Pro version costs $249 per year and adds the ability to use the microphone on the phone to bug and monitor the phones environment. The Pro X versions costs $349 per year and adds the ability to listen to phone calls and monitor the phones GPS location.
Installation of FlexiSPY is reasonably simple and the software comes with tutorials and documentation to help you with the process, which takes around 10 minutes (meaning you'll need around 10 minutes alone with the phone to set everything up). Once you've purchased the software you can install by using the phones browser to visit the installation page, entering your license number. Once the software has downloaded (2-3 minutes) you must restart the phone to complete the installation.
Once installed the FlexiSPY software runs in complete stealth. This is one of the huge benefits of FlexiSPY and a lot of the other spy phone companies fail to make their software so undetectable. The reports are then sent to you by text at user determined times (e.g. every 4 hours). Sending the reports costs the owner of the handset (although they can never tell what's going on) so sending them at longer time intervals has certain benefits.
Every feature of FlexiSPY works brilliantly. Reports are sent by text so you are constantly receiving updates of text messages that have been sent and received, the ingoing and outgoing call list and the phones emails. With the call monitoring feature you can set a list of phone numbers you wish to monitor (or you can monitor everything), when a call is made or received you will be a sent a text that tells you to call the phone to secretly listen in on the phone call. The ability to use the microphone at any time is an amazing feature that means you can listen in on what the person is doing an any point.
You can also choose when the GPS location of the person is sent to you – for example every 30 minutes or every two hours. As mentioned before, getting fewer updates will save costs on the target phone and also battery life.
Changing the settings of FlexiSPY once installed is simple. You can either send specific commands to the phone by text (all provided in the documentation) or use the software provided, which you install on your own phone to change the settings on the target phone.
All in all, FlexiSPY is a brilliant product. Everything works flawlessly and everything is easy to use and understand. The support from the company comes in the form of phone, skype and email and the response time and helpfulness of the employees seems to be second to none. The only downside to FlexiSPY is the high price tag but there is no other software (so far) that comes close to the features and stealth levels of this product.
