This is a review of the phone spy software – Neo Call. The full version of the software is extremely expensive (around $800), so were going to find out it the software deserves this high price tag. As usual with our reviews we'll start off at the website.
Its instantly obvious that Neo Calls publishers are not English. The website can be very difficult to understand and the information is scattered and messy. Another misleading aspect of the site is the Blackberry phone images and links. Neo Call only supports the Symbian operating system, so Blackberry’s are not compatible.
The software is available in a number of different versions, including names like Neo-SMS and Neo-Intercept. As mentioned before though, the full package will set you back 600 euros (around $800). I'm going to get this out of the way now – does it deserve that price tag? No. The installation of the software requires the phone to be hooked up to a PC, this is hugely impractical although a big focus of the company seems to be selling phones with Neo Call pre-installed.
Lets get down to Neo Call's features. With the full version, the software does include a lot of features including SMS text message monitoring, call list monitoring, sim change notification, realtime call alert, GPS location monitoring, listening in on microphone at any time and contact list changes notification. All of these features do work really well but as mentioned before the high price tag and the fact that you have to install the software from a PC is a real set back.
Theres also another problem with Neo Call – the reports are sent to you by text message. Although the target phone can see no sign of these texts, where there going or what's in them, this does mean that the phone can rack up text message charges. This can be a real pain on pay as you go phones and may lead to the phones owner wondering if something is wrong. Support from Neo Call is also a problem. The company is based in Italy and support is available in the form of an expensive phone call or an email with language barrier problems.
All in all Neo Call could be regarded as a good product but its huge downfalls and expenses really hinder its quality. If you use a Symbian phone (all of Neo Calls supported handsets are displayed on its website) and your willing to pay the 
massive price then Neo Call could be for you. If not, its probably worth looking at something else.
