This is a review of Spytector Keylogger and as usual we'll start at the website. The site is nice, simple and easy to navigate. Spytector offers a free trial that lasts 7 days or deactivates when 3 logs are sent. The pricing of Spytector is very interesting – the software costs $49.95 with a months support but you can also pay $99.95 for 12 months support or $229.95 for life time support.
Support from Spytector includes free upgrades, new versions and if your software gets detected by anti-virus software at any point a new undetectable version will be sent to you within 48 hours. The support from Spytector is very good and the response time is unbeatable.
After installing the software we found the user interface to be simple and user friendly. The features that Spytector include are; Keystroke logging, screenshot capture, websites visited, applications used and chat monitoring. Most of Spytector's features work very well. The software can also send the reports remotely via email or FTP.
A few downsides include, chat monitoring only monitors one side of chat conversations in most IM applications. Also, the websites visited function misses out sites from time to time and only seems to work with Internet Explorer. There also seems to be flaws with the email report function. On the other hand the filtering options are great.
All in all Spytector is a great keylogger. The support feature of requesting a new undetectable version is something that is usually unseen but in my opinion is overpriced. There are other keyloggers out there that are a lot cheaper and will keep updating to stay undetectable for free (TGEYE is one of these, click here to see its review). There are also a few flaws in Spytector that need ironing out.
