Theres not much to say about Webwatcher Mobile for now. And you may be wondering why we've added it to our list. The software, from Awareness Technologies, only monitors text messages sent and received on Blackberry's. Although it does this perfectly, its really no where near enough to warrant it a high place on our top phone spy software list.
So why have we included it here? Firstly, the company is working on expanding its compatibilities to iPhone, Android & Windows Mobile. But that's still not really enough! The main reason we've listed it here is because the company behind the software, Awareness Technologies are ones to watch.
The software they've bought out in the past has always been top of the range and top quality. And the company specialize in monitoring software. Their keylogger software – Webwatcher, has been at the top of its game for a long time and their employee monitoring software – SONAR, is a brilliant product.
So, even though I think they released their phone monitoring software, Webwatcher Mobile, a little prematurely, I do think its destined for great things and is definitely something to keep an eye on. For now, if its a blackberry you want to monitor and you only need to monitor text messages, this still could be for you.
Webwatcher Mobile is pretty cheap ($67) and is very easy to use. The installation process on the phone takes minutes at simply involves sending a text message and clicking on a link. Once installed, you can keep tabs on all the text messages by logging on to the Webwatcher Mobile website. The software's stealth levels are also brilliant.
So if you want something simple and easy for a blackberry, have a quick look at Webwatcher Mobile. That being said, until they add more features and phones your probably better off looking elsewhere.
